The Inner Roar Yoga and Wellness A slow moving, gentle class that takes plenty of time to warm up, includes a few standing postures, and plenty of time to stretch. This is a 6 week series and pre-registration is required. Register here. LYT™ Up- A workshop style classTuesdays from 9:30-10:30am
Current Series: June 14th-July 5th The Inner Roar Yoga and Wellness LYT™ Up is a workshop style class where you will learn all about anatomy and functional movement. There will be plenty of time for asking questions and tailoring each movement and pose to your body's needs. This class focuses on working the deep core and the glute muscles and you will most likely break a sweat. It is an upbeat, energizing practice but we will take multiple weeks to build up to a full practice. Pre-Registration is required for this class. Register here. What is LYT™ Yoga? Founded by physical therapist Lara Heimann, LYT™ (Lara’s Yoga Technique) is a sophisticated method of practice that is based on the three principles of Physiology, Kinesiology and Neurology. This is a strong practice class with a core understanding of movement from a cellular level while highlighting the mechanics of how movement happens, LYT™ is an intense movement experience that systematically overrides the patterns of compensation and poor habits through an exploration of brain mapping and purposeful movement. Restful RolloutThe Inner Roar Yoga and Wellness A candlelit class designed to restore your body and mind. You will be guided through a combination of self massage techniques using therapy balls and restorative yoga poses where you will be encouraged to relax. Yoga Book Club
Watch for a new Yoga Book Club coming soon!
Yoga Book Club is a special two hour class where we dive deep into topics that help us grow as humans. We will read through a book that I have chosen together and for the first half of the class talk about what came up for us during the reading, building community and connection with other like-minded people as we share our experiences. The second half of the class is reserved for a yoga class themed to our discussion. We spend and hour moving and breathing as a way of processing our thoughts and feelings. This class usually runs once a week for a 5-6 week period of time.
